From Anxiety to Control: Sleep Success in 6 Days

Michelle supported us with a structured sleep training plan and other advice which enabled our son to self settle at night, and to wake less often. We now feel more in control at night time, rather than anxious and nervous about us all not sleeping. The plan was 10 days long but I’d say the results kicked in after day 6. Thanks Michelle for your guidance!! I’d recommend your service to any other desperate parents who need some sleep!!

From Bedside Comforter to Independent Sleep: A Mother's Relief

Michelle!! I want to thank you for the amazing sleep support you have provided me during the last week. I was in despair seeing how my boy was falling into a bad habit for bedtime where I had a few days with no sleep and very painful back pain, as he needed me next to him.

You helped me at the other end of the phone and provided me an amazing sleep plan for my boy – this plan is my bible 🙏🙏! I thought I wasn’t going to be able to break the bad habit but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Still need a lot more days to be 100% on track but there is so much difference with bedtime routine. He doesn’t need me anymore as a comforter during bedtime and I can leave his room and he can fall asleep without issues in his own bed, plus is learning to soothe himself while he wakes during overnight 👌🙏💙

I was a bit dubious initially but Michelle, you are so good at this, so I want to thank you for your patience and support 👌👍❤️

From Multiple Wake-ups to Peaceful Nights

Just wanted to let you know that Michelle Long is a fab sleep trainer and I highly recommend! We called Michelle because our 2.5 yr old son started waking up several times in the night and was difficult to settle. Michelle's 10 day plan was gentle, sensible and effective. Plus the 4 hours of support over phone was fab. Michelle really knows what she's talking about and she has literally saved us from the despair of sleep deprivation. Thank you Michelle.

From Sleep Deprivation to 12-Hour Nights

I just wanted to share my experience with Michelle.

My little boy had not slept well since having tonsillitis at 7 months old. At 9 months we were seriously sleep deprived, trying to sell our house and prepare for moving on little or no sleep so I went through a couple of sleep consultants’ websites and found Michelle’s. I had a 15 minute free consultation over the phone with her to discuss my little boy’s sleeping pattern (not that there was one) and from speaking to her I felt so comfortable and she was great in calming me so I understood what things could have impacted him. So I took the 30 min call package with her with a 7-10 day plan to use, and it could be used as well when we moved house.

2 months on my little boy sleeps great most nights despite being disrupted due to moving house (our new house isn’t ready yet) and sleeps usually 7:30pm-4:30am (wakes for a bottle) then he sleeps on till 7:30/8am where when we go into him he is usually lying in his cot chattering away to himself.

She is a great person, so nice and helpful with full understanding of how even the smallest thing can cause disruption, what developmental leaps can impact as well as giving a sleep plan you can use whenever required.

She also looks into the nutritional and behavioural things that can impact sleeping so you know you aren’t failing or losing your mind and are feeling calm and confident once your consultation is done.

From Co-Sleeping to Cot Success

I would like to leave a recommendation for Michelle Long at Dream Sleepers. We were having problems with our 11-month old who used to co-sleep and breastfeed exclusively until recently. There was no way of getting her to sleep in her cot. We were so miserable and negative having terrible nights as part of our day-to-day routine. Michelle advises on the Ferber method which is gentler compared to the “cold-turkey” approach. Despite my reservations, even with a gentler method, Emilia is doing her nights 🙋🏻 (she says, tempting fate!) and we are back to being a happy family. 🤸🏼‍♀️✨💛

From Hours of Night Waking to Peaceful Nights

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know about my experience working with Michelle Long at Dream Sleepers who I know regularly posts on here.

I was in a desperate situation a couple of weeks ago as my daughter was up for hours at a time during the night, needless to say myself and my partner were on the brink of insanity… Michelle created a package based on our situation and our daughters behaviour and unbelievably it worked from night one. With some tweaks to the night time routine she falls to sleep in minutes at night and is able to self settle if she does wake. Last night (day 13) was the only night I had to go in and settle her which I think was related to teething. I’m flabbergasted to be honest as I thought it’d be more of a slog than it was. I like the fact that Michelle is a qualified health professional too as it gives security to know that the advice she gives takes into account babies needs and wellbeing.

So if anyone is struggling, I’d give her a bell as it’s amazing to retrieve your evenings back and have a decent nights sleep 😊 Thanks Michelle 😘

Professional Solution for a 2-Year-Old's Sleep Battles: Immediate Results

TOP TIP!!!! If you are experiencing Baby/toddler sleep issues – I have to recommend Michelle Long at DreamSleepers.co.uk, she has literally changed my life. My 2 year old got into the habit of insisting either my husband or I sit with him until he fell asleep every night and every daytime nap but would fight his sleep for hours and would scream the house down uncontrollably and indefinitely if we left the room. This went on for months and through some huge life changes for him (new nursery, new sibling etc). We have 2 other children so it wasn’t an option to allow this to continue but I don’t believe in ‘crying it out’ so was desperate for a solution.

I had ONE half an hour discussion with Michelle. She went away, put a plan together the same day and from that day we found a solution entirely changing his behaviour. This lady is a professional health worker, NOT a sleep consultant – she understands the child’s needs, requests and behaviour to a degree I could only dream of. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Beyond Diet: Understanding the Full Sleep Picture with a Health Professional

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me posting a recommendation. I wanted to recommend Michelle Long from www.dreamSleepers.co.uk who is an experienced child health specialist. She’s helped me with my 17 month old who just kept waking up in the night. I thought the problem was diet related… however after working together and after she analysed my responses to my baby’s behavior we realised that there were more issues relating to the interrupted sleep, it wasn’t just about the pre bed time snack….

Michelle’s main work is to support and solve sleep, feeding and behavior difficulties and the fact she’s a trained health visitor really helped her get to the root of the problem. There has been lots of media attention regarding unregulated sleep trainers so Michelle was a great option as she ticks all the boxes. Can highly recommend. Good luck everyone!

From Food Anxiety to Feeding Success: A Mother's Journey

I was always dreading the weaning age as my first child never ate huge amounts and the only foods she would eat were plain pasta and yogurt. DD however was fine up to age 22 months. She decided at this age to only eat chips, meat and rice cakes. Constipation became an issue which made the problem worse. I decided to ring Michelle and an achievable plan was made. I realised that my anxiety was half the problem.

Michelle talked me through some strategies that I could use for relieving my food related worries. With this new confidence I felt ready to focus on the food challenges. DD is now eating most of the food I give her and I no longer stress when she doesn’t feel like eating, as I know she is a healthy weight.

A Holistic Approach: From Chaos to Calm Sleep and Mealtimes

My little boy’s terrible sleep patterns started when he went to nursery for the first time. I had to go back to work when he was 6 months old. I run my own business so my life tends to be pretty busy and sometimes chaotic. I couldn’t work out if the sleep was affected by nursery or just routines at home. DS was having such broken sleep and so was I. Life was becoming unbearable and mealtimes were also becoming a challenge.

I spoke to Michelle on the phone and she established that I may need support and help in weaning, parenting and sleep routines. Michelle’s approach to everything was thorough, nurturing, clear and concise. Once I had tackled some of my son’s emotional issues (which was so unclear to read at first until Michelle identified some triggers) the weaning improved, then the sleep followed. It was a miracle and I can’t thank Michelle enough.

From Post-Move Sleep Struggles to Newfound Confidence

DD slept amazingly from birth only feeding 3hrly, then sleeping for 5 hrs at night time. The problem arose when we moved house and she was 18 months old. DD had a new room and bed which we felt was wonderful. Unfortunately DD did not settle and we were clueless what to do. We borrowed a few books from friends and asked everyone for tips, but unfortunately everyone’s advice did not help and I couldn’t understand why? My mood started to suffer and I began to give up.

Finally I decided to ask for help, so I contacted Michelle who was amazing. She inspired confidence in me with her knowledge and specialist skills. She changed my negative thoughts and helped me alter some routines. This type of support and guidance is something which you can take away, it creates a new strength, something which I never felt I had.

From Nighttime Wandering to Independent Sleep: A 3-Year-Old's Success

My little monkey of a son had never been a great sleeper and frequently came into our bed in the night when we were fast asleep. My partner had had enough as our son was 3 years old. We felt that this pattern may continue for a long time if we didn’t take action. The advice and support I received from Michelle was intensive and encouraging.

I felt in control and Michelle always ensured that I was happy with the recommendations. I saw changes in my son’s sleep from day 3 and by day 7 he wasn’t even attempting to get out of bed. He is now an independent sleeper and sleeps all night till 7am.

From 20-Minute Wake-ups to 6-Hour Stretches: An 8-Week-Old's Journey

I was reluctant at first to ask for help with my 8 week old baby girl and was unsure what were normal or abnormal sleep patterns. After night time feeds she would only go back to sleep for 20 minutes then feed again. I was up all night, frantic.

Michelle was understanding and really listened to my problem. I was supported weekly with some simple sleep strategies that I would have never thought of. This was 3 months ago and DD is sleeping for 6 hours in the night and I feel human again. I think this is the best service ever!
